Nic Cage is ‘Kick-Ass’

Submitted by Jeremy on Friday, 22 August 2008No Comment

Over at The Hollywood Reporter, it was reported that Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in the Matthew Vaughan-directed adapation of the comic book, ‘Kick-Ass’.

The comic book, written by Mark Millar, is about a high school geek who decides he wants to be a super hero.  He has no powers and no technology to back his aspirations up, so, when he finally meets some real bad guys, things get ugly.

Cage will be playing an ex-cop who trains his daughter to become a lethel weapon in order to bring down a violent druglord.

Shooting begins in London and Toronto in the Fall.
