how was your weekend?

mine was good.   i did not see the mummy.   i did not see dark knight again. or swing vote. i watched real genius on DVD and went to see Dolly Parton in concert. which seems weird, but both those things were pretty fun.   really looking forward to pineapple express this weekend!

speaking of which, NY Times did this slideshow of stoner movies through the ages:

of course, nothing can touch dazed and confused–but i was thrilled we were on the list!

this video’s cool:

think that’s all for now.   i’ll hit y’all up in a few days!

  1. Dude Dolly Parton in contest? I saw you as more of a..not a Dolly Parton fan? Dont be upset about missing The Mummy 3, it was bad…unless you like Ebert, he thought it was the best one!

  2. Santogold! I hate to admit that i like Santogold, but it’s great music. And Top Ranking mixtape is a must have.

  3. Michelle says:

Dolly in concert is awesome – who doesn’t love her in Nine to Five? Jonathan is truly King of the Winter Carnival!! Real Genius is a classic…were any of you even around in 1985? “‘Rue the day?’ Who talks like that?”

  4. Dolly in concert! Great stuff..hard candy christmas, 9to5, Jolie..all classics. I spent the weekend on a football excursion..St. Louis to Canton OH. for the Hall of Fame inductions..then Canton to Mequon Wi to wathc the St. Louis Rams at training camp, then back to the Lou’ (1590 miles in 4 days)
I’m ready to kick back and watch some movies!

  5. The best thing Dolly Parton ever did was Rhinestone…everybody knows that to be true…I spent my weekend watching a couple of stoners try and escape from Guantanamo Bay…when that didn’t work out for those poor bastards, I threw in NPH & His Crazy Foreign Friends…or something like that…I’m going to combine the topless trend and the bottomless trend and just cover up the torso of one and all…And I will start with Dolly Parton…

  6. Thanks for this usefull information.
