Box Office Totals Aug. 22-24: Bunnies, Bullets & Ben Stiller!

As the Dark Knight continues it’s way down the Box Office top ten, the top spots are occupied by Playboy Bunnies, fatal race car drivers and a group of egotistical comedians. Tropic Thunder remains at number 1 with a weekend total of $16 million. Anna Faris and Jason Statham made it a close finish with $15 and $12 million for spots 2&3. Rainn Wilson’s first headlining gig “The Rocker” hit a sour note opening out of the top ten. Here is how the rest of the top ten finished:

Next Week: Don Cheadle will be spying the top spot with his new film “Traitor” or will the Rocker find the right tune to break into the top 10. Sounds like a disaster in the making for the folks in “Disaster Movie”.
