WAMG Contest: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2′
Since we have been bombarding all of you with a slew of superhero action films we decided to tone it down a little bit and give away some tickets to a little more tender movie. Movie Geek Girls, this one is for you, and guys do your wives/girlfriends a favor and take them out to see it!

So this chick named Mary gets knocked up and her ex best friends think she has the devil in her and throws a bible at her. While her mom is in ga ga land of their church’s pastor Skip. She finds new friends and a new love besides her gay boyfriend who knocked her up in the first place to make him straight. Didn’t Work. Thats kinda what makes it good and it’s hilarious and cute. O and I love patrick fugit who is in it.
We just viewed “P. S. I Love You” and that rates pretty high as an all-time favorite chick flick. We enjoyed it especially after all the action films we have seen lately. Hope to see you at the movies.

How about an old one: Dirty Dancing! Guy and girl from opposite sides of the track break all the rules and defy all the odds to be together. It’s a 80’s dance spin on an American classic. It just doesn’t get any better than that!
“Fever Pitch”…Jimmy Fallon and baseball…what else could an STL girl ask for, minus the clips of the Sox sweeping our arses.
So I don’t know how to pick my favorite chick flick, but one that comes to mind first is “Love Actuallyâ€. The airport scenes in the very beginning and end always make me want to cry (Ick, I’m turning into one of those people!). Besides that, I love how all the story lines are separate but intertwined and that they don’t all end in the perfect fairytale ending. Laura Linney’s character doesn’t get the guy, and you were totally rooting for her, and you’re heartbroken for her. But then you get to see the little boy win over his first love and his stepdad gets with Claudia Schiffer. The movie is believable and touching, very funny. And there’s nudity in it, so I think most guys could sit through it, right?
