Shia Labeouf is out of control …
Shia Labeouf was arrested last night on suspicious of DUI after a car accident which left him, and 2 other people injured. Pile this on top of the fact that he was arrested last November, and was also arrested with a warrant in March for “unlawful smoking” (whatever that means?) and this kid is out of control!
The thing that gets me is the fact that after all this crap in the less than a year, he is still landing HUGE roles. He was in last summers biggest movie(Transformers), one of this summers biggest movies(Indiana Jones 4), and one of next summer’s biggest movies(Transformers 2).
Why does he keep getting chances, and it just slides off every ones shoulders, but when other celebs do the same thing, or even less, everyone goes off on them for it? He has been the legal drinking age for a year and has been arrested for it twice in the same amount of time. I am calling BULLSHIT.
I will say that because, A.) he is a guy, B.) he is over 21 and, C.) he has maintained staying under the radar very well, no one really seems to care. When Russel Crowe threw the phone a while back it was over and gone within a week an he was in the public eye way more than Shia has been. You call bull-nookies, but I give him props for being able to keep it on the down-low so well; that and they are only 90-day misdemeanors or ticketable offenses he is getting caught with.
I think people are still a little bit in denial of the fact that he isn’t just a Nickelodeon goodie goodie anymore. And for a while he really was keeping out of trouble and not making headlines. We’ll see if this is the beginning of something worse or just a low point.
