Ridley Scott’s ‘Body of Lies’ Trailer
DiCaprio and Crowe are ready to deliver fine performances in ‘Body of Lies’ The two are also re-uniting for the first time on screen since the 1995 “The Quick and the Dead.”
In “Body of Lies,” Crowe will play Ed Hoffman, the manipulative CIA boss who teams with operative Roger Ferris (DiCaprio) to trap a dangerous Al Qaeda leader by planting a false rumor that the bomber is in cahoots with the Americans.
I’m starting to appreciate DiCaprio more and more after the recent slew of films he has had impact on. When will this guy get his Oscar?
‘Body of Lies’ is scheduled to hit theaters on October 10th.
DiCaprio may have to wait a long time before the Academy endows him with the golden guy. The real question is when will the brilliant Ridley Scott, director/producer of Body of Lies, receive his LONG OVERDUE Oscar? The fact that he keeps getting passed over everytime he’s nominated is startling.
I know! Those great movies like Blade Runner,Black Hawk Down,Legend,Alien,Thelma and Louise,and Gladiator never got him an Oscar? Now that is crazyness! Also Martin Scorcese, who is one of my favorite directors, had to wait his turn. Some years these brilliant directors are snubbed by the academy!

well hopefully he can earn an Oscar soon. have you heard he’ll be making a western called Blood Meridian.
oh yeah…based on the crazy, uber-violent Cormac McCarthy novel…no one’s been cast yet. Wonder who they’ll cast as the Judge. Scott and Crowe are finishing up “Nottingham” right now…script is promising!
