["Maggie Gyllenhaal replaces Katie Holmes as Dawes, and does a substantially more realistic and effective job as Wayne and Dent’s object of affection. She doesn’t feel forced and we can feel her heartbreak in the film."]

No, she doesn't. I realize that many of you dislike Tom Cruise, but why take it out on his wife? Frankly, I think that Katie Holmes got the better deal. Both her and Gyllenhaal were solid as Rachel Dawes. But whereas Holmes was able to portray Rachel as the moral voice of Gotham,

I saw this today and it to me goes down as the best superhero/comic book movie ever made. It also goes down as one of the best sequels along with T2, Aliens, Empire Strikes Back, and The Godfather part 2. Ledgers performance will go down as one of the best movie villans ever on screen.
