Leonardo DiCaprio taking us to ‘The Twilight Zone’

Leonardo DiCaprio is taking over a role made famous by Rod Serling in the 1960′s, hosting The Twilight Zone. DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way are in the early stages of gathering story material and script ideas. The studios are not interested in making another episode driven feature film similar to the last Twilight Zone film in 1983. This time they want  one continuing storyline based one one or more episodes for the original series. The original series aired approximately 156 episodes so they have a deep pool to draw from. I personally can’t wait to hear the eerie music start to play and see those words come in to focus from out in the stars.

  1. There are so many great movies that can be made based on episodes of The Twilight Zone, which is easily one of the very best shows ever created. The writers of “Lost” which in my opinion is TV’s best program, have openly acknowleded that The Twilght Zone has influenced them greatly.

Seriously, this is all great news. I can’t wait for this film to come out. I agree, i cant wait for that eerie music.
Although, it’s sad how music, programs, and films are being remade or based on something from the past; seems like things arent as original anymore. Atleast give the credit to those who came up with whatever. Evereyone hears a lil wayne beat or lyric and think its his.
