‘Hiding in Time’ is next in Comic-to-Movie reign …

.

Warner Bros. is teaming up with producer Dan Lin and writer Beau Thorne to adapt the comic book mini-series Hiding in Time into a feature film. The Image/Shadowline comic book series was written by Christopher Long and illustrated by Ryan Winn.

[The story is set in a not-too-distant future in which the Witness Protection Program uses time travel to relocate high-value witnesses into the past for safe keeping. When the program is compromised, a government scientist must travel back through the greatest moments in history to help a master thief rescue his old crew from the assassins sent back by their former employer.] — The Hollywood Reporter

We’ll see how this does, but so far ‘Max Payne’ … Thorne’s other recent adaptation from a video game, seems to really be raising some unexpected eyebrows.
