‘Dark Knight’ has a record $60M Friday

With the biggest release ever of 4,366 North American theaters, Warner Bros. sources are telling Deadline Hollywood Daily that The Dark Knight opened to a GIANT $60M today. Fantasy Moguls, Steve Mason, writes that competing studios are projecting an even higher $63M. Looks like the film will have the biggest Friday ever beating out Spiderman 3’s $59.8M record setting opening day.
