they arent going to choose killer croc, or clayface, or firefly, cause they're choosing the villians who are belienable, and real. which is why joker was makeup, which is what is making them so damn money, cause their movies are sooooo damn plausable.

I think Sam Rockwell would be a good choice for the Riddler, or even the next joker if they are thinking of keeping the character. Rockwell has the right balance of menace/evil=Green Mile, comedy=Galaxy Quest, Hitchhikers Guide, attitude=matchstick men and on the edge quirkiness=confessions of a dangerous mind. All in all I think he is the most well rounded person to play these iconic characters. Although Daniel Day Lewis as the Riddler does sound amazing. What does everyone think?

killer croc is too much of a superhuman for this series. theyd never agree to do that. IF they do another id expect catwoman, poison ivy, the riddler, harley quinn, or the joker.

You may need special permission for this one ..but, I think Andy Serkis (Gollum) would be great in the role and might bring back a little Frank Gorshin to the charater.

Alexis could lose some weight for the role. Remember Christian Bale’s role in “The Machinist”? Several actors and actresses have lost or gained weight for roles. (currently Matt Damon)

However, I think Casey Affleck would be a great choice as well… that boy can act.

I think Robert has a pretty good pick with Alexis as well, but he almost seems too physically well built for the role. Given Alexis is somewhat tall and lanky, but whenever I think of The Riddler I think of someone really tall and skinny like an engineering nerd who would rather do sudoku than soccer and is reflected in his stature. Riddler is all mind with nothing physical.

Another person who I would be interested in seeing a screen test from: Casey Affleck. He seems like he could pull off the Riddler if given a chance judging by his showings in “Gone Baby Gone” and “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”.

I’m inclined to agree with Brett … the rehash thing gets old. On the other hand, if it weren’t for rehashing we wouldn’t be getting potentially Ledger’s finest performance as The Joker. Personally, I’m not so well versed in the DC Universe … but, I’d be interested in knowing if Harley Quinn will ever be introduced. Just please never rehash Mr. Freeze! Such a dumb character.

But speculating is SO MUCH FUN!

I will have to throw this guy out here even though he might be a little too old or comical for the role: Jon Cryer.

I haven’t seen him in anything serious, but his character on 2 and a Half Men he pulls off with a great sense of neuroticism which is a staple for The Riddler. Also I think he fits the build for The Riddler as well.

And I know saying Duckie might be great for The Riddler might get me some flack, but I am ok with that.

But as other choices, Zachary Quinto (even though he is tied up as Spock) or Jonathan Tucker I think would be solid choices because they are both great facial actors that would emote The Riddler really well.
