Eric Bana doing a comedy?
It is being report that Eric Bana is going to try his hand at the new Apatow comedy about stand up comics … I want to be the first to say this is a BAD idea. I have a rough time watching your action/drama movies, I have no idea how I am going to make it through a comedy of yours, unless there is a GREAT supporting cast. Thankfully it will be an Apatow movie so the supporting cast will definitely be there. Maybe the comedy will be about a guy who absolutely cannot do comedy, which will make it funny? I know, I know he started out as a comic, but … that was a long time ago and it obviously didn’t work out very well for him.
What do you guys think about this movie? Can you take accept Bana in a comedy?
Ok Ok Ok, before we jump off the casting couch… I trust Judd that he has a role Bana can make happen.Yes he struggles in his roles ..but maybe he’s due and Apatow and the “Sandman” can bring it out in him. The supporting cast will be huge combining the Happy Madison gang and the Freeks and Geeks clan!
I would put him in as maybe the club owner or maybe a hateful drunk at the bar.
