Funny … after the original 1936 movie, the 1954 TV series, the 1996 TV series, the 1979 animated TV series, the new 2007 TV series and the 1980 movie remake, I figures the concept had run its course.
Ahh … but wait, it came back as a remake rumor, then died and alas … its back again. Isn’t this material “dated” yet? Does anyone really want to see this made?
Apparently, Columbia Pictures does … they’ve attached Breck Eisner to direct a film that has yet to get a script, or even a writer. So, by show of hands, who wants to see this movie?
