The Assassination of Jesse James..on dvd tuesday.
I havent seen this movie..yet, but I am eagerly awaiting the release on tuesday.
Here is the synopsis from wikipedia:
“Jesse James (Brad Pitt) is a notorious outlaw who plans a new robbery and combats his enemies, who pursue a bounty on his head. James finds that the danger lies not on the outside, but from within his own group.The only problem is that there is a guy who joins his crew. This man will eventually become the traitor and put an end to James.”
Every review I have read of the movie has been outstanding..should be a great dvd cult classic.
I LOVED this movie. Despite its 160 minute running time and slow, poetic pace, the movie sucks you in and doesn’t let you go. The performances are great and Casey Affleck is incredible, but the real star of the film is the cinematography. Hands down the most beautifully shot film of 2007. Looking forward to hearing your review.
