Greatest out of work actor of the day: Emilio Estevez

Although he is now directing movies instead of staring in them, you could consider that an out of work ACTOR right?

I was first introduced to Emilio Esteves through the 1990 movie Men at Workin which he stared with his younger brother Charlie Sheen. What I always liked about Emilio was the fact that he didn’t take on his dad’s stage name, he wanted to get acting gigs on his own. His dad of course is Martin Sheen.

After Men at Work he was the main character in one of my favorite childhood flicks The Mighty Ducks, followed by D2: The Mighty Ducks. Now as a full blown movie geek I have gone back and enjoyed many movies he did in the 80’s. Most notably The Breakfast Club, Young Guns, Stakeout and The Outsiders(a movie which contains a lot of future out of work actors here on WAMG).

I loved Bobby, and really hope that Emilio finds future success as a director/actor.
