Yesterday the AP revealed the big requirements necessary to bring this year’s Bond film, Quantum of Solace, into completion for its scheduled November 7th release date:

*Five, count ‘em, FIVE sound stages at Britian’s Pinewood studios, recreating a medieval Italian town, locations from South America, and of course British intelligence headquarters, MI6.

*A cast and crew of over 500.

* A production schedule entailing 10 to 12 hour days, 6 days a week.

The film’s producer, Michael Wilson reports an experienced crew as being key to the production’s success. Quantum of Solace, (quantum being a unit of measure, or in physics, the smallest possible physical quantity) takes place less than an hour after Casino Royale left off. Wilson says it will also contain “twice as much action”, reports the BBC News.
