I was watching The Big Lebowski last night and wondered “What the hell has John Goodman been up to?” With very little looking I have found out. He is doing the new live action Speed Racer movie. I did some poking around to find that it looks like it isn’t going to be all that horrible. The Film stars Emile Hirsch as Speed Racer, John Goodman as Pops, and Christina Ricci as Trixie. There are many more big names in the film, and it looks to be pretty promising. The Mach 5 looks just like it did in the cartoon. I am not the biggest Speed Racer fan, but I’ll go see it for nostalgia.
