So, all the movie hype over Juno and countless clips from the movie have made me really, really want to see this damn movie. However, after watching for of the clips I am finding it hard to see Ellen Page as anything besides Hayley Stark from Hard Candy.
She really creeped me out in that role. [...] [...more]

Talk about breaking a stereotype. Who would have thought that such a great film like Juno was written by an ex-advertiser/stripper/phone sex operator named Diablo Cody. But that is in fact what she has done and paired with one of the more capable young directors around, Jason Reitman, Juno might end up being the funniest [...] [...more]
“How big could it be?” The big red guy asked at the climax of Hellboy, but little did he know at the time just how big it would get. Hellboy II: The Golden Army, the much anticipated but little talked about sequel, is due to hit theatres in July of 2008. Man o’ man, does [...] [...more]
Be Kind Rewind looks to be the first really great comedy of 2008. Jack Black and Mos Def should be a winning bet on this one. Here is the synopsis of the movie from wikipedia.com

I took my little brother to see the first hulk when he was 9, thinking that he would absolutely love it. The end result was him being bored out of his mind for the first hour. I wasnt a big fan of Eric Bana in the movie, he just didnt strike me as the Bruce [...] [...more]
Yes, you should all know that by now, what you probably dont know is that Sly Stone is about 190% bigger than he was in the first movie..he is also like 30 years older. Maybe they should put an Asterisk next to the movie name, or if it breaks some box office records, put [...] [...more]

Mike Nichols new film is a great piece of history through film with a story that few people probably have heard of or know much about in the first place.

Will Smith’s newest blockbuster works really well for about 75% of the time and the other 25% is just good. Robert Neville is the last human in NYC, is accompanied by his German Sheppard Sam as they hunt for food and go through their daily routine everyday during the daylight. At night they are forced [...] [...more]

The long delayed New York based musical by John Turturro finally gets to show its face, and sadly, outside of a few good laughs here and there this one is not a winner.
The film has no direction at all for 2/3 of the film. It feels like a random splattering of scenes most [...] [...more]

Well anyhow such will be the case when these two come together in ‘The Firbidden Kingdom’. Wow, this is going to be on crazy duo together. Like themovieblog said, [...] [...more]
